Boulder Cove Originals
was founded in 2002 as a dream to combine a musical sounding wind chime and treasures found in the Adirondacks. Creating a unique and whimsical art statement. The wind chimes are hand cut from terra cotta clay, kiln fired to a high come to produce one of a kind musical tones, then painted in glazes and refired. They are then strung on items found throughout the Adirondacks region or at Boulder Cove. Hang your chimes in a semi-sheltered area for years of enjoyment.
Jewelry was then added to the collection in 2004 by a request to turn a mitten chime into a pin. Inspired by the Adirondacks and the peace found at Boulder Cove, each piece of jewelry is crafted by hand, of clay, sterling silver and natural fibers.
Not long after that... customized plates, spirit faces and houses, whimsical vases, bird feeding trays and baths and woodland animals were added. Our new lines of unique keepsakes created with a personalized touch are always growing!
So goes the terror of an artist mind ... to many ideas not enough time.
Special Hangings
At this time, chimes are made in 50 different shapes, from bears to sailboats to cabins. Anything that can be drawn, can be made into a chime.

Pricing may vary on chimes strung on antique items. Special pricing on commissions hung on your treasure. Custom orders always welcome, at no additional charge. 25% deposit is required. Payment due on delivery.
